COPACOL-COOPERATIVA AGROINDUSTRIAL CONSOLATA, founded in western Paraná State, has been a prominent figure in the poultry sector since the launch of its Integrated Poultry Complex project. Poultry now contributes to 60% of the cooperative’s annual revenue. Copacol maintains strict control over every aspect of production—from the initial stages to logistics and marketing—to ensure the delivery of high-quality poultry products recognized worldwide. The cooperative’s commitment to quality extends across its operations, ensuring that its products maintain their flavor and integrity throughout the supply chain.

The poultry division of Copacol involves 900 cooperative members and over 1,100 hatcheries. These members benefit from diversified holdings, allowing them to engage in other agricultural ventures such as fish farming, dairy production, pig farming, and cereal cultivation. With the combination of cutting-edge technology and technical support provided by Copacol, these branches excel in producing superior outcomes in animal welfare, helping maintain high standards of quality and sustainability across the cooperative’s operations.

Slaughterhouse Production

Automated Processing for Consistent Quality and Efficiency

Copacol’s investments in automatic slaughtering equipment increase the aggregate worth of the goods so they can be sold on the most competitive global marketplaces. Along with the chicken lines, Copacol processes 3,100 tons of goods each month for both domestic and foreign markets, including commodities that are fresh, frozen, seasoned, and processed meats to meet the needs of different customers.

More than 6,000 union men are served by Copacol (Cooperative Agricultural Consolata), a Brazilian company founded in Cafelandia City, Parana State. Its high-quality products are backed by certifications for ISO 9001, BRC – Food Products, and APPCC/HACCP – Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Copacol has been in business for 53 years, has 33 years of expertise in foreign markets, and is currently present on all five continents. Copacol's History

From Humble Beginnings to a Global Agricultural Force

Copacol (Cooperative Agricultural Consolata) was established on October 23, 1963, by Father Luis Luise and an additional 32 immigrant farmers from the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul with the goal of achieving the distribution of electric energy to the members.

Six years later, in 1969, the Cooperative was cut off from this sector in order to better serve agriculture, which at the time stood out due to the production of beans, rice, corn, and coffee.

Empowering Communities through Education and Development

Copacol promotes causes, ideals, and activities targeted at improving the personal and organizational development of women through the training programs of the Copacol Women’s Group, which was introduced in 2001. This is done along with the goal of resupplying women into community and cooperative activities.

Social programs geared toward children are among the initiatives that have aided in the cultural, academic, and sporting development of the kids of colleagues, employees, and residents of the towns in their territory. Promote sports, culture, and education. Twenty thousand kids and teenagers will participate until 2018.
